Wish List for 2017-2018 School Year

Dear Parents/Guardians:

 

It is hard to believe that the school year has come to an end! It has been a year filled with excitement and joy and we are looking forward to working with all of you in the fall.

 

Although our school will continue to provide all of the essential student supplies next year, parents generally purchase a few extra school supplies for their children during the summer months. In order to provide consistency for all children, the following is a list of suggested supplies that parents may wish to purchase for their children before school begins next September.

 

 

Kindergarten

 

Required

A pair of non-marking running shoes for indoor gym (velcro recommended unless your child can tie his/her own shoes)

A backpack big enough to fit a binder (no wheels)

 

Recommended

A box of tissue

LARGE glue sticks (at least 2 per term)

A bottle of soap (pump)

4 tennis balls per chair

A box of large Ziploc bags

An extra set of clothes in a labeled    

    Ziploc bag

A yoga mat for rest time and one small

    blanket

 

Please label all articles for your child.

 

 

Grade 1 -3

 

Required

A pair of non-marking running shoes for indoor gym

A backpack big enough to fit a binder

 

Recommended

One pencil box

Scissors

LARGE glue sticks (at least 2 per term)

A package of 8-12 pencils crayons

A box of large Ziploc bags

Kleenex (2 boxes per term)

4 tennis balls per chair (not cut)

Yellow highlighters

1   1 inch binder with 3 plastic page protectors

5 dividers for French

Hand sanitizer

Hand soap

Earbuds

 

Please note that all students from grades 1 to 3 will be required to purchase a school Agenda in September. Agendas will be sold to all students during the first week of September.

Grade 4-6

 

Required

A pair of non-marking running shoes for indoor gym

A backpack big enough to fit a binder

A soft pencil case

A pencil sharpener (small enclosed hand-held one with closed lid)

A pair of scissors

A package of multicolored highlighters

Large glue sticks

A package of 8-12 colour pencil crayons

4 tennis balls per chair

Kleenex (2 boxes)

A French-English dictionary

A box of large Ziploc bags

1 medium bottle of white glue

Hand sanitizer

Hand soap

Earbuds

 

Please note that students from grades 4 to 6 receive all communication electronically. You have the option of purchasing an agenda  if you wish.
